Join Us in Climbing for a Cure

Every step we take up Mount Kilimanjaro is a step closer to a world without breast cancer. This mission isn’t just about reaching the summit—it’s about raising $100,000 for groundbreaking research at the University of Chicago Medicine.

Led by Peggy Brosnan, a breast cancer survivor and advocate, we are turning a dream into reality—scaling one of the world’s tallest mountains to support the fight against this disease.

Climbing for a $100,000 goal

🗻 Why We Climb for a Cure

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the U.S. and also impacts men. The journey to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro symbolizes the fight against this disease—difficult, but possible with strength, determination, and support.

Every donation brings us closer to a breakthrough in breast cancer research at the University of Chicago Medicine. This climb is about more than reaching the summit—it’s about saving lives.

🌟 Meet Our Founder Peggy

Peggy Brosnan is a breast cancer survivor, mother of five, and the heart behind Climbing for a Cure. After facing her own battle with cancer, she knew she had to give back. Inspired by the research that helped save her life, she set a bold goal—to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and raise $100,000 for breast cancer research.

She isn’t doing this alone. Alongside a team of family, friends, and supporters, Peggy will take on the climb of a lifetime—showing the world that together, we can overcome anything.

🤝 Together, We Make a Difference

Breast cancer affects not just individuals but entire families and communities. Every dollar raised through Climbing for a Cure helps fund life-changing research at the University of Chicago Medicine, bringing us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

With your support, we can give hope, fund breakthroughs, and create a world where fewer families have to face this battle.

The Training Has Begun…

"Breakthroughs in breast cancer research are happening every day—but they need funding. Your support fuels the next discovery that could save lives."
